Okay, so I know I said there won’t be any more posts until 2016 but I had to post this. Bout of Books 15 is right around the corner, and as I seem to have slipped the reading slump for the moment I thought I’d take the opportunity and sign-up to participate.
For those who don’t know about Bout of Books, here’s some info:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 4th and runs through Sunday, January 10th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 15 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
If you’ve never taken part before, don’t worry! The whole point of Bout of Books is not the challenges – and there are daily ones – but the fact that you sit down and you read. You can read as much, or as little, as you want – you get to set your own goal. There’s also a couple of Twitter chats where you can talk to new people. If you do want to take part in any of the challenges or join the chats you can find the schedule here.
I’d love to know if you’re taking part, so please leave a comment below. Good luck to everyone taking part!

Yesterday marked the start of Bout of Books 14, and whilst I am a little late (and by that I mean a whole awful lot) in doing this I thought I’d better get started – or risk losing the window. First off I am going to start by listing my goals for this bout of books, and below that I will be keeping track of my progress as the week progresses.
