Sunday Post (16) & Showcase Sunday (8)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  It was inspired in part by the In My Mailbox meme. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

This week has been a pretty good one, even if there were a couple of stressful days when I had some issues with being able to get my medication. Bout of Books has really helped my ability to read this week, so I’m very happy. I also visited London yesterday with my Mum which was super fun, if a “little” wet.

This Week on The Flutterby Room

Next Week on The Flutterby Room

  • 29th August – The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith

Any New Books?

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits, and Tea. Its aim is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week.

The final book of my Amazon ordered arrived this week. I also visited London yesterday, so of course I picked up some books.

  • Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky #2) by Veronica Rossi [Goodreads]
  • Tiger’s Quest (The Tiger Saga #2) by Colleen Houck [Goodreads]
  • Tiger’s Voyage (The Tiger Saga #3) by Colleen Houck [Goodreads]
  • Tiger’s Destiny (The Tiger Saga #4) by Colleen Houck [Goodreads]
  • Heart of Obsidian (A Psy-Changeling Novel #12) by Nalini Singh (signed) [Goodreads]
  • Omens (Cainsville #1) by Kelley Armstrong [Goodreads]

That’s it from me this week. I hope you’ve had a good week; let me know how your week went in the comments below.
