In My Mailbox (19)

In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren, it is a weekly meme where people record what books they received that week. As I don’t receive books every week, I do the meme as and when I can.

This weeks IMM covers both this week and Easter, as I decided because I was having family over that I couldn’t realistically take part in the meme. I hope everyone that celebrated got lots of chocolate – I did 😀 There’s just over 3 days to enter my international giveaway to win 1 copy of a book by Kelley Armstrong from a list of twenty. I’ll put a link to the details and entry form at the end of this post.

The books I got around Easter.

Books I purchased.

  • Storm’s Heart (A Novel of the Elder Races, 2) by Thea Harrison
  • Serpent’s Kiss (A Novel of the Elder Races, 3) by Thea Harrison
  • Oracle’s Moon (A Novel of the Elder Races, 4) by Thea Harrison
  • Lord’s Fall (A Novel of the Elder Races, 5) by Thea Harrison

Books I borrowed from the library.

  • Archangel’s Storm (A Guild Hunter Novel, 5) by Nalini Singh
  • Tangle of Need (A Psy-Changeling Novel, 11) by Nalini Singh

Books I got this week

Books Mum purchased for me. (Thanks Mum!)

  • Because It Is My Blood (Birthrights #2) by Gabrielle Zevin
  • Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt
  • Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, Book 1) by Robin LaFevers
  • The Rising (A Darkness Rising Book, 3) by Kelley Armstrong

I’m really please with all 10 books I’ve got over the past couple of weeks. I’ve read and enjoyed all four of the Novel of the Elder Races books (look for my reviews for them soon) and I have also read Archangel’s Storm and enjoyed it (a review for that will be up soon as well). At the moment I’m taking a bit of a break because I’ve been ill, so I’m doing a spot of re-reading. I’m looking forward to diving into Tangle of Need soon though!

And for those of you still reading:

here is the link to the Kelley Armstrong giveaway, scroll down the page for the rules and the link to the entry form.

So that was what’s in my mailbox this week. Leave a comment and let me know what’s in yours.

  1. So many great books! I’m really looking forward to reading Thea Harrison’s books as she seems to be making a name for herself these days. Love Nalini Singh, but Tangle of Need seems to have been a hit or miss book for a lot of fans, so I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Thanks for stopping by BookExhibitionism earlier!

  2. I’ve seen a lot about Going Vintage and Grace Mercy. I’ll be curious to see what you have to say about them.

    Happy reading!

  3. I’ve heard absolutely amazing things about Grave Mercy, but I haven’t gotten to it yet. Going Vintage is fun. I hope you enjoy all your books. Happy reading 🙂
